Rowsley - Consolidating For The Next Leg Up!

After a huge sell down from Albert Hong's unwinding of his shares, it has been building a strong base between 0.105 to 0.115. The biggest block of share overhang remains between 0.119 to 0.121.
A break above 0.121 will trigger an acceleration to resistance 0.131 and 0.145.

Will the Hang Seng and Shanghai Market Rally Continues ? It Depends On the Dollar!

Hang Seng Index has been one of the best performing index in Asia Market in 2017. Today, it close at its year high at 27848. Will the rally continues? It all depends on the USD/Rmb trend. The Dollar is trading near the year low against the Rmb , although this blog like most pundits' are expecting a Dollar rebound, would not want to bet on it with Donald Trump's scoring his own "goals" and the White House in chaos. These event has contributed to the dollar steep slide in the recent months. For these  reasons this blog continue to stay bullish on the Asia Markets particularly Hang Seng and Shanghai Index. The charts below illustrates the close co-relationship between the Dollar and the China Markets. Trump's recent hint to veto the spending bill unless the Mexico Wall is funded has added to the Dollars woes. Congress must pass spending bill by 30 Sept. This blog believes that the potential Fed Balance sheet contraction when  enacted will cause a Dollar to rebound  and a steep market correction. Watch the Dollar direction !

Spackman - Leading the penny stock rebound!

Spackman - Volume has been on the increase since bottoming out in mid august. Technically, it could have bottomed out in the short term with support established at 0.114, it could be heading towards next resistance at 01.29 and 0.14 in the week ahead.
On the fundamental side, the group revenue increased 38% YoY to US 10.5m for 1H Fy2017. Upcoming movie a manhunt thriller "Golden Slumber" could provide the next catalyst for the stock to trade higher.

Rowsley - Significant Price and Volume spike - Something Brewing?

Rowsley - Huge volume spike today, something brewing? One possible catalyst is the  conclusion of the deal to inject Peter Lim's  Thomson Medical and TMC  into rowsley.  Another possible catalyst could be new development  from  Vantage Bay Medical Hub in Iskandar. Many people may have forgotten that in Nov 2015 , Peter Lim decided to reconceptualise Vantage Bay Integrated Residential/Commercial development  into a healthcare and medical hub worth $1.65 billion . Since the Nov 15 announcement we have not heard any more news of this project. Could Peter Lim have in his sleeve a grand plan organise all these assets into a formidable regional health care giant?
The volume and price spike today is very significant, is there a corporate development on the horizon? On the Chart, the stock could have bottomed out at 0.11, its strong support is now at 0.115. Today it tested its most significant resistance at 0.121 to 0.124, if it is able to hold above this levels it should head to next resistance at 0.135 to 0.141. This blog has turned bullish on this stock.

Advanced Trading Course Batch 3

On Saturday 19 August 2017, we wrapped up the third batch of our Advanced Trading Course in three months. Though many of the students have been to various courses before, they still told me that the strategies and secrets shared in the course have not been taught anywhere else. This is indeed a very unique course. I am glad it has been well received!

Robin engaging a class of experienced traders

Class Photo of Robin Ho's Advanced Trading Course Batch 3, 19 Aug 2017

"Robin shared a lot of useful insights that other traders and courses do not offer. It gave me an edge in trading and provided me with a better insight on how market syndicates work and how to decode their moments so we can trade with the tide and not against the tide. This course is definitely worth attending! It summarizes the essence of many top market secrets, so do attend this course!"

~ Bing Han

"I am a graduate of Robin's MTM Course, and have since turned to full time trading. The most important skill I learned from the course is how to analyse volume distribution and accumulation, which I will apply to my own trading plan. In the class, Robin used many different scenarios to reinforce his teaching, which is very beneficial. The course has helped me to better prepare for my trades, execute my trade plan and follow through with it!"

Dow - Summer Correction Could Have Just Started!

Although Dow is sitting on its 50 Days MA, the deceleration in Price/Momentum , prices reaching the upper trend channel price target and breaching its 1 year uptrend channel are ominous signs that the summer correction is on its way. Dow has initial support  between 21430 to 21520. If 21430 is breached, it could head south towards 30980 and 20780. This blog is bearish on Dow!

Best World

I shared the chart below about Best World at SGX Market Depth Seminar yesterday night. On 10 August, when the stock was at 1.495, this blog said that Best World has peaked and we could see a reversal of trend. This blog also said that a break below 1.44 will bring Best World into a bear phase. We have witnessed a massive sell down from 1.50 to 1.02 since 14 August. This stock should see support at 0.88, 0.95 and 0.98. Fortune favours the brave at these levels.

NetEase

NetEase - 2Q results were weak . Revenue at Rmb13.4 B was in line but online gaming revenue was down 12%, ecommerce was a drag on margin , Ebit margin was the lowest ever reported. On the chart the uptrendline has been broken, its 50 days MA has been violated and the RSI has been on a divergence to its uptrend .  In the short term it could be heading to its next support at US  260. If US 260 is breached the next support is at US 240 and US 211 respectively.

MM2 - Great Run Up Could Have Ended

Great run up could have ended. After MM2 placed out $15m of shares to Starhub, the stock price has since been weak. Yesterday's news of MM2's upgrade to mainboard and Unusual's good result did not attract any interest in the stock. Watch the 0.505 critical support level. When it breaks, the next support levels are 0.405 and 0.365.

Genting - Results Beat Expectations, Could Retrace Before Rebounding

Results of Genting Singapore beat expectations! Second quarter 2017 EBITA up 152% year on year to $293m. DBS upgraded the stock with a new target price of $1.45, which represents a 23% upside.

In spite of the bullish call, this blog is short term bearish on this stock, seeing how insiders were buying ahead of the results. It could retrace to $1.14 in the short term before rebounding. Any break below $1.13 will be long term bearish.
